Anachronism Anachronism, Schizophrenia, and the Speed of Light and Sound reflects the interplay of divergent experiences, temporal disjunctions, and the nuanced exploration of fear, identity, and neurodiversity in a performative context, set in real and speculative spaces such as outer-space and in mines; by drawing on schizophrenia as a methodology.The work is to destigmatize, working through shame, by looking at the realities, lived experiences, history and politics of people who variously identify as mad, voice hearers, neurodiverse and/or disabled that are directly linked to us as artists. Made for every socially responsible individual. The work will have a composition of video, poetry, comedy, skit-theatrics, mythological references, Aetiological myths and live performances. Anachronism, Schizophrenia, and the Speed of Light and Sound is a co-production between Reality Research Center and Mad House Helsinki.
