Architecture walking tour: Modern Helsinki During this architecture walking tour, weâll explore aesthetics, materials, and the societal conditions that shaped the development of modern architecture in Helsinki from the 1930s to 2018. The tour introduces participants to the city centreâs fascinating office buildings, department stores, educational institutions, and other public buildings.Come and discover Helsinkiâs modernism beyond the surface. The architecture walking tours are scripted by the experts of the Architecture & Design Museum Helsinki and guided by museum guides with in-depth knowledge of each theme. The tours are part of the museumâs summer 2026 programme of public architecture walking tours, taking visitors through some of Helsinkiâs most fascinating neighbourhoods. Price: 15 ⬠/ person Duration: 90 minutes Language: Tours are organised in Finnish and English. Each tour is limited to 25 participants.
